CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- A Lee County School Board candidate has been arrested after a disturbance at a Cape Coral party.
Cape Coral Police say it happened on Saturday night.
They say Louis Navarra showed up to a party at a house on El Dorado Boulevard North that he wasn't invited to attend. People at the party told investigators Navarra circled the house, eventually walking inside despite being turned away numerous times.
The report says Navarra then yelled at people inside the house and pushed a woman, all while attempting to solicit votes for himself.
He is running for the District 4 seat, which includes North Fort Myers.
He is now charged with Burglary with Assault or Battery.
