SANIBEL, Fla.-- Sanibel Island is no longer under a state of emergency.
The city lifted the designation Tuesday night.
Now, the city is shifting its focus on recovery. For the next several weeks, crews will survey the coastline looking for signs of erosion.
Erosion along Sanibel is pretty common, especially when tropical system rolls through.
