LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- A Fort Myers man was arrested for assaulting an underage girl.
On May 4th, the girl’s mother told Sanibel police that a man sexually assaulted her daughter in February. She said it happened in the back seat of his car.
Investigators identified 19-year-old Smith Dumornisse as a suspect, and arrested him Tuesday.
He's charged with Lewd and Lascivious Conduct on a victim between 12 and 16, and remains in the Lee County Jail.
