Bank robbery suspect at large in North Fort Myers

NORTH FORT MYERS, Fla. --- Investigators are looking for a man who robbed Wells Fargo on Monday afternoon. 

According to Lee County Sheriff's Office a man entered the Wells Fargo bank on the 3000 block of Pine Island Road in North Fort Myers. 

The suspect handed the bank teller a note demanding cash. The bank teller handing over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect before he fled the bank on foot. 

Witnesses who saw the suspect says he was headed towards the nearby McDonald's on foot but may have left the area in a blue Dodge Ran truck.

The suspect is described as being in his 50's approximately 5'10" feet tall with salt and pepper hair and a beard. 

He was last seen wearing jeans, a yellow sweatshirt, a blue Steelers baseball cap and dark sunglasses.

No gun was reportedly visible to the bank teller.
