FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. -- It's a race to the finish line in Southwest Florida this weekend.
Race teams from all over the world are gearing up for Roar Offshore powerboat races in Fort Myers Beach.
The six-race series across the country starts in Fort Myers. Organizers aim to excite and entertain people attending this year.
The event kicks off Thursday with a parade on San Carlos Boulevard, followed by a street party.
All the racing action starts on Saturday.
