IMMOKALEE, Fla. -- The U.S. Postal Inspection Service has boosted the reward offered for key information on last month's post office robbery up to $50,000.
The previous reward offer had been $20,000
According to officials, four unknown black males armed with handguns entered the Immokalee Post Office around 6:30 a.m. on December 12, 2018. The men ordered employees to lay on the ground while one clerk opened the safe. The men then fled the scene.
They are asking the public to remain vigilant and stay safe. If you have any information about this incident, please contact the: U.S. Postal Inspection Service at 1-877-876-2455. Information provided that leads to the arrest and convictions of the four men could be worth up to $50,000.
