BONITA SPRINGS, Fla. --- The reward has increased for anyone with information that leads to the arrest of the driver who killed a Bonita Springs resident.
According to investigators, on August 11, 2016, an unknown driver ran through the intersection of Nottingham Lane and Bonita Drive in Bonita Springs before 8:30 a.m. and hit 71-year-old Lynn Brown, on his tricycle.
The driver of the car failed to stop and as a result of the crash Brown lost his life that morning.
Brown's estate is offering an additional $1,000.00 reward for information leading to the arrest of the driver. The additional reward now brings the total to $2,000.00, which includes the $1,000.00 being offered by Crime Stoppers.
Despite a physical disability, Brown lived a simple but fulfilled life and was adored by many in the Bonita Springs community.

Shorty before his death, friends of Brown's raised money to buy him a new tricycle to commute on, which was same tricycle he was riding the morning he was killed.
Anyone with information on the person responsible is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a cash reward from Crime Stoppers.
