FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Lee Health says they are in need of blood donations.
A spokesperson for Lee Health says right now they're dealing with a severe shortage of Type O Negative blood.
While it is the universal type, people with that type can only receive Type O Negative.
There are four locations you can donate at across the county, which are Lee Memorial and Cape Coral hospitals, as well as Summerlin Crossings and Bonita Community Health Center.
