PUNTA GORDA, FLa. — A rec center in Punta Gorda now has a makeover!
Today was the ribbon cutting ceremony for the South County Regional Park recreation center.
The park has a new Multi-purpose activity room.
The renovation was approved by voters as part of the 2014 one-percent sales tax.
This is the first of three rec center renovations to be completed.
