PUNTA GORDA, Fla. - The Punta Gorda Police Department was reporting issues with its 911 lines on Wednesday.
According to a tweet, the department was experiencing "sporadic" problems.
"If you are in need of assistance please call 941-639-4111," it said.
The department later tweeted on Wednesday night that the issue has been resolved.
