CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — A Port Charlotte woman is accused of making a threat that led to a school lockdown this week.

Sarasota deputies charged Kimberly Brazell with aggravated stalking and grand theft.

Deputies say Brazell contacted a woman whose child attends Garden Elementary School on Monday and threatened to harm the child.

The woman called school officials sparking the school lockdown.
