FORT MYERS, Fla. - The Fort Myers Police Department is looking for a suspect listed as a person of interest in an attempted sexual battery case.

These surveillance photos and police sketches show the suspect from an incident that happened April 6 in Westwood Apartments, police said.

Four in Your Corner spoke with people living in the apartment complex, one of them was Suzanne Summers. Summers lives in the Westwood Apartments and has for some years now. She says that one incident or another frequently happens to make her question her safety in the apartment complex.

“I was shocked and I feel unsafe“, she says.

Summers told Fox 4 that she hadn't even heard from the complex about the incident. She found out about the attempted sexual battery a week later. She told Fox 4 that fliers were passed around the complex, but she still doesn't feel completely safe.

If you recognize this man, you are asked to contact Detective Jose Gomez at (239) 851-8049 or text 847411 and include the keyword FMPD.

Tipsters can also send anonymous information to Crime Stoppers at (800)780-TIPS or online at www.southwestfloridacrimestoppers.com.
