Police looking for suspect who allegedly stole $400 worth of batteries from Lowes

CAPE CORAL, Fla. - Cape Coral police officers are looking for a man they say stole almost $400 worth of things from a Lowes in Cape Coral. 

The man walked into the tools section and took a $250 four pack of lithium batteries and a $150 two pack of them March 31, police said. 

The man is seen walking toward the lumber register as if planning to check out - but surveillance video captures him running out of the store. He then ran across the parking lot and out of sight, police said. 

The suspect is about five and a half feet tall, 130 pounds and between 40 and 45 years old. Police are asking anybody with information to call the Cape Coral Police Department.
