PUNTA GORDA, Fla. -- Police are hoping to locate the owners of a puppy found in Punta Gorda Monday night.
According to Punta Gorda Police, the dog was found along Highway 17/Duncan Road near the intersection with Piper Road, just east of I-75.
Officers will be taking the puppy to the Animal Welfare League in Port Charlotte.
