SARASOTA, Fla. — The Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office is conducting an investigation into a shooting incident that occurred early Sunday morning in Sarasota.
Police said the shooting happened just after 3:00 a.m. in the 2500 Block of 19th Street. Several gunshots were fired at house, while the occupants were asleep. No one was injured.
Deputies said the investigation is active and ongoing. Updates will be provided as they become available.
