PUNTA GORDA, Fla. — Employees were made to evacuate a Pilot Travel Center in Punta Gorda Saturday morning, according to Charlotte County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said the evacuation lasted 15 minutes, and employees were able to return inside.
The cause of the evacuation is unknown, and the investigation is on going.
