FORT MYERS, Fla. – There was a heavy police presence at gas station in Fort Myers Tuesday night.
It was happening at the Marathon gas station in the 2900 block of Fowler Street, just north of Hanson Street.
We're told there were reports of shots fired. It's not clear if there's a victim.
UPDATE (11:35 AM) -- Police say the victims claim a silver colored sedan pulled behind their vehicle and two armed, masked black males exited the car, approached them and demanded property and money.
The suspects stole cash and cell phones then drove away in the direction of Maple Avenue.
The suspect passenger was reported to be wearing a black t-shirt with white lettering, no description was given of the driver.
No injuries were reported and the investigation is ongoing.
