POLICE: Eleven vehicles burglarized and three cars stolen on Marco Island

MARCO ISLAND, Fla — An investigation is underway on Marco Island after eleven vehicle burglaries and three cars were stolen happened on Sunday.

Marco Island Police say it happened on Echo Circle, Bluebird Ave, Columbus Way, Wayne Ave, Yellowbird St, Riverhead Ave, Tahiti Rd, and Worthington St.

Investigators say all of the vehicles seemed to be unlocked or had the keys inside of them.

MIPD also says a Black Taurus 9mm was taken out of a car.

Investigators were able to find one stole car in St. Petersburg.

They are still looking for a Gray Hyundai Santa Fe with Florida Tag number 637RVA and a Red Chevrolet Camaro with Black racing stripes, and a Florida Tag number PVDG99.
