CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Police have arrested a mother who they say had her 2-year-old child in the car when she sold drugs to an undercover detective.
20-year-old Darian Nare is facing several counts of cocaine sale and possession, as well as a charge of child neglect.
According to Cape Coral Police, detectives with the Vice, Intelligence, and Narcotics Unit arranged to purchase cocaine from Nare on Tuesday.
Detectives had made previous purchases from Nare, but on this occasion her 2-year-old boy was in the backseat during the drug sale.
Nare was arrested and booked into the Lee County Jail, where she is being held on $75,000 bond.
