Police arrest four teens after a string of car burglaries in North Port

NORTH PORT, Fla. — After a string of car burglaries, police arrest four teens in connection to the incidents.

Officers responded to the area of Kenvil Drive on Saturday in reference to multiple car burglaries that had recently occurred.

Police said that about 100 vehicles may have been burglarized at 50 residence in the area.

The four teens are facing multiple charges including armed vehicle burglary, criminal mischief and drug possession.

Three people are charged with three counts of Armed Vehicle Burglary: 18-year-old Caleb Garman, 18-year-old Jerwery Thomas, and a 14-year-old boy.

19-year-old JaNiya Snipes is charged with possession of marijuana, but was determined to not be present during the burglaries.

Police said this is an ongoing investigation.
