NORTH PORT-- A southwest Florida dog owner is crediting her Pitbull with taking a rattlesnake bite to protect her.
This happened in North Port.
The owner said “Beast” went into full beast-mode to protect her.
She said “Beast” was walking alongside his smaller siblings when she heard the terrifying rattle.
She didn't see the snake until Beast boldly stepped in.
The owner said beast began bleeding immediately, and she rushed him to get treatment with anti-venom, which he got it just in time.
