FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Four in Your Corner is learning more about the car at the center of a Lee County Sheriff's Office investigation early Monday.

Deputies say the car in question was driven by someone who tried to hit a deputy Sunday night.  It happened when the deputy was responding to a disturbance at the RaceTrac store on Alico Road. The driver took off with deputies on his trail, but lost them.

The car was later found in the Pine Manor community.

The suspect is still on the loose.

Investigators say the car was stolen.
