HENDRY COUNTY, Fla. — An area pilot was taken to the hospital after a plane crash on Tuesday.
Dispatchers received a 911 call reporting a small engine plane crash in rural Western Hendry County around 4 p.m.
Emergency crews located the crash site and the pilot and helped him get out of the cockpit.
The pilot says he began to lose power.
The FAA is investigating the crash.
