FORT MYERS, Fla. -- One person was killed in a hit and run late Tuesday night.
It happened in the 2200 block of Fowler Street in Fort Myers.
Police say when they got there they found a deceased man's body lying in the middle of the street.
Witnesses say they saw two different cars hit the man and drive off. The only description of the vehicles was of a dark-colored truck and a dark-colored sedan.
The victim has been identified as 72-year-old Gary Knafla.
