FORT MYERS BEACH, Fla. -- New developments on the proposed Margaritaville Resort near the pier in Fort Myers Beach.
TPI, the development company behind the resort, says their permit applications are currently in review and they expect to have the final submissions ready in the next couple of weeks.
Construction is slated to start in January and will take a year and a half to complete.
In late June, a civil lawsuit against the town was withdrawn.
