PUNTA GORDA, Fla. — The Charlotte County Sheriff's Office reports that one person has died after a crash.
The office posted the notice just before midnight, Wednesday night, noting that Jones Loop Road at Mac Drive will be closed for an extended period of time after a vehicle and pedestrian crashed.
Florida Highway Patrol is on scene investigating, according to the office.
Fox 4 is working to learn more about how and what happened. When our team arrived around 6 a.m., they said there were no closed roads or debris or authorities in the area.
