FORT MYERS — Fort Myers Police responded to a call about a woman who had been stabbed on the 3000 block of Franklin Street around 4:00 a.m. this morning. Fox 4 was first on the scene, where reporters saw an ambulance arrive, load the woman out of the house and wheel her into the ambulance before taking her to the hospital.
Sergeant Morel of FMPD said the woman suffered non-life threatening injuries, and that the victim's vehicle's tires were slashed as well. FMPD says they believe the victim and the suspect know each other, and that they are currently searching for the suspect, but know where they will be.
