LEE COUNTY, Fla. -- One person has died after a crash on South Tamiami Trail near Constitution Boulevard early Tuesday morning.
This is in the San Carlos Park area.
All lanes opened back up shortly after 6 a.m.
Florida Highway Patrol says two cars were involved. One is a gray Mercedes, another is a smaller red vehicle. That red vehicle was damaged so badly, it's hard to recognized the make or model.
