PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. -- A nail salon customer was treated for injuries after an SUV drove into the business Tuesday morning.

It happened just after noon at Fancy Nail Salon in the 2300 block of Port Charlotte.

According to Charlotte County Fire, the SUV's driver, 75-year-old Kathleen Lange of Port Charlotte, was uninjured in the crash.

Florida Highway Patrol says Lange was attempting to park in front of the store but failed to stop before entering the structure.

One 60-year-old woman inside the salon sustained a leg injury and was taken to the hospital in serious, but stable condition.

Lange is being charged with Careless Driving.
