BOKEELIA, Fla — The Matlacha/Pine Island Fire Department is investigating after a vehicle fire injured someone in Bokeelia.
The fire chief said that on Tuesday, they were called to a fire off Royal Oakley Lane, involving a Sprinter truck.
They said one person has burn injuries because of the fire. Firefighters stabilized them on scene and transported them to a hospital via medical helicopter for further treatment.
