One person was shot during an attempted robbery at a rest stop near the mile marker 70 on I-75 this morning.
The attempted robbery happened on I-75 northbound near mile marker 70 at the Big Cypress National Preserve access point at about 5:30 a.m.
The person shot was airlifted to Lee Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Collier County deputies cleared the scene is working with Florida Highway Patrol to investigate.
