One person arrested for fatal stabbing outside Port Charlotte home

UPDATE (9:30 PM) -- Deputies now confirm an arrest has been made after a stabbing outside a Port Charlotte home overnight.

They tell Fox 4 that it happened around 9:30 p.m. at a home in the 19600 block of Midway Boulevard.

That's where two men in their 30's reportedly got into an altercation outside a home, leading to one person being stabbed.

The victim was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The suspect, 29-year-old Rondale Robbins, has been arrested for manslaughter and deputies say he has a prior arrest history.

The victim's name has not been released at this point.

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla. -- Deputies say one person is in custody as they investigate a death in Port Charlotte Monday morning.

The crime scene is in the 19600 block of Midway Boulevard.

That's where one male is reported dead, but all people involved in the disturbance are accounted for.

Midway Boulevard is closed between Beaumont Avenue and Dupin Avenue.
