COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. — Deputies responded to a call of a shooting at 16th Avenue SW and 23rd Street SW around 9 p.m. on Friday.
At that time, 24-yer-old David Norgard was transported to Physicians Regional Hospital, the victim has since succumbed to injuries, according to deputies.
Deputies said they are now working a death investigation, the shooting took place following an incident in the roadway. There is no danger to the public, and no arrests have been made.
