FORT MYERS, Fla. — Florida Highway Patrol is responding to a fatal crash on S Tamiami Trail (U.S. 41) and Hickory Drive in San Carlos Park.
FHP was able to confirm eight people were injured and one deceased.
There were two vehicles involved.
