CHARLOTTE COUNTY, Fla. — Deputies say one person is dead and another was taken into custody.
Sheriff deputies were called to the 4000 block of Taylor Road in Punta Gorda around 8 p.m. on Sunday night.
Investigators say it was a domestic dispute and involved the use of a firearm.
They expect to release more information later today.
