Emergency responders are investigating a law enforcement involved crash in Fort Myers.
Fort Myers Police say the accident happened on Jackson Street near Canal Street where a law enforcement vehicle went into a canal.
At this time, Jackson street is closed and traffic is being redirected.
The officer involved in the crash is being transported to Lee Memorial Hospital non-life threatening injuries.
This is an ongoing investigation.
