Hickory Road closed due to construction

CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Police say a section of Del Prado Boulevard South was shut down northbound due to a serious crash.

It happened just before noon in the 3500 block of Del Prado, between Savona Parkway and Palaco Grande Parkway.

According to Cape Coral Police, the crash involved a car and houses in the area.

The road appears to be open again.
