NORTH PORT, Fla. — June is recognized as Caribbean-American Heritage Month. To recognize the month, North Port hosted its seventh annual Caribbean-American Heritage Month Celebration.
Featuring Caribbean cuisine, family activities and live cultural performances, the free event was held at the North Port City Hall Saturday.
June has been nationally recognized as Caribbean-American Heritage Month since 2006.
