NORTH PORT, Fla. — North Port Police and The North Port Fire Department responded to a call referencing an unconscious five month old.
First responders administered CPR.
The child could not be revived.
The child’s mother spoke with Police and said she was breastfeeding when she fell asleep.
When she woke up, she found the infant, not breathing.
This is an active ongoing investigation.
