CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- Officers responded to a Cape Coral store Tuesday after a woman reported hearing a threat being made.
The call came in around 1:45 p.m. at the Ross Dress For Less on Del Prado Boulevard just north of Veterans Memorial Parkway.
That's where a woman says she heard a male make a threat and she was unsure if he would carry it out. However, upon arrival, officers say the woman was uncooperative.
A review of surveillance video from the store was unable to locate the alleged suspect. Officer believe there was no suspect making threats in the store.
The Cape Coral Police Department reminds citizens that they take the safety of citizens very seriously and will treat every threat as if they are legitimate until they are thoroughly investigated.
