FORT MYERS, Fla. -- Several people are behind bars, accused of soliciting for sex in Fort Myers.
Fort Myers Police arrested nine people Monday night in connection with an undercover prostitution sting called “Tricks & No Treats”.
Each arrest happened at the Super 8 motel on Colonial Boulevard.
Investigators say they were responding to complaints of prostitution and drug activity in the area, and the problem stemmed from social media and websites like Backpage, which is known for advertising for sex.
