CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- There's a new place where you can grab your cup of coffee and donuts on your way to work in the Cape.
Fox 4 got a preview of the new Dunkin' on Pine Island Road and Nicholas Parkway at their grand opening on Thursday.
It one of the first Dunkin' stores in Southwest Florida without the 'Donuts' in the name. The company announced their new branding last year.
It has beverages on tap, including coffees, iced teas, cold brew coffee and nitro coffee. It's also considered a "green achievement" restaurant. It's designed to save 25% more energy.
Cape Coral Mayor Joe Coviello says he's pretty excited about the new concept. “Certainly it provides some jobs in our city, but also this is a new concept for the Dunkin Donuts.”
The design is also different than other Dunkin restaurants, down to the colors and materials of the furniture.
