Four In Your Corner is digging deeper into the murder of 13-month old Mackenzie Fewox. Her foster father, Dustin Todd, is charged with her death. Medical Examiners have determined Mackezie died by asphyxiation and have determined her case a homicide.

In Todd's arrest affidavit, detectives point out a few inconsistencies with his story about the night Mackenzie died. Medical Examiners also determined several bruises on her body weren't from the day the child died, making it a clear sign of prior abuse.

Examiners found multiple bruises on Mackenzie's rib area, on her right cheek, the right side of her forehead, and on her head above her ears. She also had an abrasion between her bottom lip and chin.

Detectives say the onesie she wore was dirty and her diaper heavy with urine, also finding a moist balled up crib sheet with blood.

Mackenzie's foster mother works seven nights a week as a pharmacy technician. Todd was responsible for putting her to bed but was known to complain because Mackenzie cried a lot. Witnesses told detectives Todd would often yell at her to stop crying.

On January 29th, Todd was the one who called 911 after he noticed the 13-month old was limp and not breathing. Six months later Todd was arrested and charged with second degree murder and child cruelty.

Todd is expected to be in court on Saturday. August 5, 2017. DCF has confirmed they have been involved with the family int he past.

Court documents show Mackenzie's biological parents are both in jail.
