National Fudge Day is on Saturday June 16th. The Gulf Coast Fudge Company is marking the occasion with a special deal on their old fashioned fudge. Joey Heuglin makes the fudge at the Gulf Coast Fudge Company and took over from his mother who ran the shop for years.
The Gulf Coast Fudge Company has a wide variety of flavors from key lime pie and salted caramel. This is in addition to the tradition fudge flavors. Heuglin told Four in Your Corner that' she open to experimenting and will try to make anything his customers ask of him.
"Just come by the shop and talk to me, and I'll try to put a smile on your face with some sweets", he said.
Heuglin says he's planning to keep fudge in the family and already has his children helping him out in the shop.
The Gulf Coast Fudge Company has two locations.

Cape Coral Shop at Tarpon Point Marina
