COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. --- The Naples Police Department hosts "Coffee with a Cop" on Friday.
Naples Police Officers and local residents will come together in an informal space to discusses community issues, how to build a stronger relationship between officers and residents and drink coffee.
All local residents are encouraged to attend this event and should come prepared to ask questions and increase knowledge of the Naples Police Department's role within the City of Naples.
The event will begin at 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. at Bad Ass Coffee on the 1300 block of 3rd street South in Naples.
Coffee with a Cop is a national initiative supported by The United States Department of Justice and Office of Community Oriented Policing Services.
Similar events are held across the country, as local police departments strive to make lasting connections with those in the community.
