NAPLES, Fla. -- The City of Naples closed its public pier Friday due to bad weather.
The pier was closed around 9 a.m. Friday due to safety concerns related to the weather.
A Fox 4 crew stopped by the pier shortly before high tide Friday and the most of the beach was underwater.
The pier will remain closed until further notice.
UPDATE: The pier re-opened at 6:30 am Saturday.
