COLLIER COUNTY, Fla. --- Collier County Sheriff's have arrested a man who confessed to molesting an underage girl.
According to a Collier County police report the suspect, Simon Filadelfo, 32, met with deputies wanting to confess to a crime. Filadelfo told authorities that for the past 5 months he had been touching an 8-year-old victim inappropriately on her private areas.
An investigator with the Department of Children and Families went to the victims home and scheduled an immediate forensic interview with the victim. The victim told investigators that Simon grabbed her hand and tried to put her hand on his exposed private area.
Simon was placed under arrest and transported to Naples Jail Center. He is being charged with one count of sexual battery, two counts of lewd and lascivious molestation and two counts of lewd and lascivious conduct.
