Posted

A Naples man accused of stealing a debit card and purchasing over $500 worth of groceries was arrested, the Collier County Sheriff's Office said.

The card holder reported an illegal use of her credit card to obtain goods of over $300 in April, CCSO said.

Account records obtained showed a list of card transactions including an unauthorized purchase at a Publix located on Immokalee Road in Naples.

It was later determined that a former house guest, 47-year-old Thomas Dalia, stole the credit card and purchased over $500 worth of miscellaneous items from Publix.

He was located on Friday and charged with Identity Theft and Grand Theft.
