NAPLES, Fla — The Collier County Sheriff's Office says a Naples man was arrested for breaking into a marina this week and stealing thousands of dollars worth of merchandise.

Gregory Stuart Lacefield, 32, of Naples, has been charged with burglary, grand theft $10,000-$20,000 and criminal mischief.

Stuart was arrested on Thursday in connection with a Wednesday morning break in at Brookside Boat Marina off of Davis Boulevard in Naples.

The sheriff's office says surveillance video shows Lacefield stealing various boat parts and electronics.

Deputies say they recognized Lacefield from previous law enforcement encounters.

Lacefield was additionally charged with possession of cocaine and narcotic paraphernalia following a search of his back pack by deputies.
