CAPE CORAL, Fla. -- A motorcyclist was sent to the hospital after a serious crash over the weekend. It happened Saturday morning around 9 am at the intersection of Chiquita Boulevard and Pine Island Road.
The rider was not wearing a helmet, according to police. They say he was riding along Pine Island road the motorcycle spun out and the rider fell to ground. He had life threatening injuries and was trauma alerted to the hospital. He is in critical but stable condition.
Police say the rider was not using alcohol or drugs.
